Glossary / O / Occupancy Rate

Occupancy Rate

The percentage of available nights that are booked over a given period. Calculated by dividing booked nights by available nights. Occupancy rate is a key performance indicator, though high occupancy with low rates may indicate underpricing.

Example

If you had 20 booked nights out of 30 available nights, your occupancy rate is 67%.
