How does the Airbnb integration work?

When you connect your Airbnb account, we use Airbnb’s official API to import your listing content, photos, pricing, and reviews. This content populates your Futurestay dashboard. You can choose Basic Sync (keep managing in Airbnb) or Full Sync (manage everything from Futurestay with real-time calendar sync).

Will connecting to Futurestay affect my Airbnb listing?

No. Your Airbnb listing remains exactly as it is. We only read your content to display in your Futurestay dashboard. With Basic Sync, we never make any changes to your Airbnb account. With Full Sync, calendar blocks and pricing changes you make in Futurestay sync to Airbnb, but you’re always in full control.

What’s the difference between Basic Sync and Full Sync?

Basic Sync imports your content and lets you sync pricing on demand, but you keep managing reservations in Airbnb. Full Sync adds real-time calendar synchronization, advanced booking rules, and shows all your reservations (Airbnb + direct) in one Futurestay dashboard. Start with Basic and upgrade when you’re ready.

How do I prevent double bookings?

With Full Sync, calendars stay synchronized in real-time across all your channels. When a guest books, the dates are instantly blocked everywhere. You can also use iCal sync as a backup layer of protection.

Can I import my Airbnb reviews?

Yes. When you connect Airbnb, we import your guest reviews and display them in your Futurestay dashboard. This helps you track your reputation and see your performance across properties.

Do I need to pay anything to Airbnb for this integration?

No. Futurestay is an official Airbnb API partner. The integration is included in your Futurestay subscription at no extra cost.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. Connect your Airbnb account, select which listings to import, and you’re set up. You can customize further after launch, but you’ll have everything working almost immediately.

Can I disconnect from Airbnb later?

Yes. You can disconnect at any time. Your Futurestay account will continue working. You’ll just need to manage content manually instead of syncing from Airbnb.
